IT’S ALL OR NOTHING AT THE BIG FINALS!

Showdown at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria

The finals of the Red Bull Air Race season 2014 are getting close – and with it an exciting race weekend for Hannes Arch. All pilots will give their best when it comes to this year’s final round on October 25th and 26th.

For the first time since its launch in 2003 the show will return to Austrian skies as the pilots will compete at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. Hannes Arch, who hails from Styria where the first ever Red Bull Air Race was flown, can be sure to have lots of support from thousands of fans at his ‘home base’.

He is looking forward to flying so close to home – not least because the route, which follows the Formula 1 course, is full of challenges and will demand tactical flying, a strength of Hannes Arch.

With currently only one point behind the leading Paul Bonhomme, Arch is positive and thinks that everything is possible with regards to who will win the World Cup. At this point he sees Nigel Lamb, who is level on points and has shown great consistency throughout the season, as the biggest competitor. A field of strong pilots is the best motivator, especially at the finals.

On both days fans can look forward to a spectacular program in the air and on the ground with live music, air shows by the Flying Bulls and much more. Autographs by all Red Bull Air Race pilots can be obtained during the pilots’ parade on Sunday afternoon.
