How are you doing?

Generally surprisingly well, it looks as if life has meant it well with me. In return I am happy to mostly see the positive side of things.

What is your current weight?

79 kg

What is your biggest achievement to date?

To still be alive and enjoying life

Is there a defeat which you can tell us about?

To hurt or to be mean to other people is a defeat in my eyes.

Can you tell us one of your childhood memories?

One?

What is the hardest you have ever worked for money?

Either as a labourer on a building site when I was 16 or in a steel factory during the holidays to finance my climbing trips. Mind you, competing in the Red Bull Air Race Series is a pretty hard job – anyone fancy swapping?!

Is there a miracle that has come true in your life?

Every single day

Don’t have one

The Lord of the Rings (not the film)

Favourite pop song?

I do not like pop too much, I like more alternative, rock, classic music.

What is your favourite work of art in the world?

Definitely nature.

Favourite board game?

I don’t have time to play board games.

What is the most beautiful thing on Earth that can be bought for money?

That’s a stupid question. You will never be able to buy most beautiful thing on Earth using money.

One thing apart from love that you can’t buy for money?

Pretty much everything that has real value: sincerity, respect, friendliness, esteem etc.

Name one item in your wardrobe that is particularly special to you.

I don’t have a wardrobe; I live out of my suitcase.

Tell us one difference between men and women which you value?

I value everything that makes us different; that is what makes women so interesting for me.

My parents, family and friends who have supported me, especially during those times when I needed them.

To try to be happy and to die
