1996 – My journey will never end – Paragliding World Cup in Venezuela
Paragliding forced me to leave my home to experience the world. I started out by teaching myself the basics of the sport along with a friend. Then slowly step-by-step, I began to leave all familiar places behind in search of new places and new people to continue with on my journey.
Paragliding fascinated me because of its simplicity and delicateness. It gave me the opportunity to fly all over the world, armed with only a backpack. Paragliding gave me my first real job, as a paragliding test pilot in Switzerland. I saved the money I earned and used it to finance getting my Private Pilot’s License. From there, I traveled around the world competing in paragliding World Cups from Venezuela to Brazil and all over Europe.
