Big Time - Top of climbing career

My heart forever belongs to climbing and mountains. Out of all the sports I have done in my career, climbing has brought me the most peace and has made the most sense in my life. Ten years of extreme climbing and mountaineering allowed me to experience life in its most pure way: I trusted, I suffered, I cried, I was disappointed, I felt hunger, I felt thirst, I was exhausted, I was proud, I was happy. I felt all of life’s emotions in its most extreme forms. Climbing taught me to trust in myself and opened my eyes to the simplicity of life. It taught me that there is no big mystery in life other than to simply live it and enjoy it. When I reached the top of Mount London in Alaska after a 36-hour first ascent, I realized that climbing was a part of my soul.
